How to connect it, in three steps
Open RadarAddress in Zapier
Add RadarAddress to your Zapier account and select it when you create or edit a Zap.
Connect your account
At the first step with RadarAddress, Zapier asks for the token: you create it in your account area, under "API tokens". It is best to have a token just for Zapier, which you can revoke on its own if you ever need to.
Build the Zap
Choose the trigger event (a new contact, a form response, a new row), add the RadarAddress action and specify the fields to verify. Then write the "Verified" fields wherever you need them.
The account is free, asks for no card and includes an allowance of operations every month.
Three Zaps to start from
- The website form·a new form response goes through Verify Email and Verify Phone before entering the CRM: the misspelled email corrected, the one that can't receive mail flagged, the phone number ready to dial
- The new contact in the CRM·Verify Contact checks the address and a filter on the outcome decides: if it is confirmed with high reliability you write it back in the correct form, otherwise you flag it with a label
- The newsletter subscriber·Enrich Name separates surname and first name, recognises the title and writes the salutation in the language of the country, ready for the first email
Frequently asked questions
How do I add RadarAddress to Zapier?
Open RadarAddress in Zapier, add it to your account and select it when you create or edit a Zap. The first time you use it, connect your RadarAddress account with an API token.
Do I need a paid Zapier plan?
A two-step Zap, the trigger and the verification, works on the free Zapier plan. Filters and Zaps with more steps need a paid Zapier plan, which you pay to Zapier.
Does an address that can't be found stop the Zap?
No. The step still succeeds and returns the outcome: "ok", "modified", "warning" or "error". You decide, with a filter, what to write into the CRM. The Zap only stops if the token is no longer valid or if your operations have run out, and in that case Zapier notifies you.
Does the app change the data in my CRM on its own?
No. The app returns the verified form in separate fields, which start with "Verified"; you choose where to write them. Email calls for extra care: in many CRMs the email is the contact's key, and overwriting it with the corrected one creates a new contact. It is best to write it into a separate field.
What language are the fields in?
Zapier shows apps in English, so the names of the actions and fields are in English. The outcome title, the reason and the notes come out in the language you choose in the step, or in your account's language.
What does it consume?
Each step verifies one item. Verify Contact uses one address verification operation; Verify Email, Verify Phone and Enrich Name use one light check. Every month the first operations are free; beyond that, the packages and subscriptions on the pricing page.
Does it work outside Italy?
Yes, in the 27 countries in service. In the step you choose the country from the menu, or take it from a field of the contact: the address is verified against that country's register and comes out in its own format.
What about a whole database?
A Zap handles one contact at a time, as it arrives. For a database that is already full, it is easier to upload the file: verification and deduplication work on all the rows together.
