The whole record, not one field at a time

Normalisation reads street, house number, postcode, city and province together and rewrites the address in its delivery form. With the “contact” switch it fixes the person too.

The address in its delivery form

Street name in full, the right postcode even in cities with several postal zones, city and province consistent, coordinates with their precision declared. Every correction is declared field by field, with the reason.

The name and the Italian tax code

Surname and first name in the correct form (De Filippo, D'Ambrosio), the title in its place, the salutation ready; the Italian tax code checked against name, surname and date of birth, with the date and place it contains.

When it isn't sure, it says so

A street that isn't in the municipality, a missing house number, two municipalities with the same name: the outcome says so and leaves the decision to you. The engine never invents a plausible address.
